Der bis zu 818 Meter hohe Bergrücken Hunau stellt eine der höchsten Erhebungen Nordrhein-Westfalens dar. Neben großen Laubholzbeständen finden sich hier auch zwei der im Sauerland seltenen Moore.

Im Sauerland sind Moore sehr selten – auf dem bis zu 818 Meter hohen Bergrücken der Hunau gibt es jedoch gleich zwei solcher Ökosysteme. Und nicht nur die „Nasse Wiese“ und der „Rauhe Bruch“ sind eine Wanderung wert – Wanderer durchstreifen große Laubwälder und lassen sich ganz auf die Natur ein. Um zum Naturschutzgebiet „Nasse Wiese“ zu gelangen, folgen Wanderer dem 8,1 Kilometer langen Rundweg B 4. Wer auch das zweite Moor sehen möchte, nimmt ab dort den Weg X 25 bis zum „Rauhen Bruch“ und kehrt später auf derselben Route zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.
