Die Rundwanderung beginnt an der Tourist-Information im Kur- und Bürgerhaus in Saalhausen. Von dort aus geht es an der Grundschule vorbei um zum Stelenplatz zu gelangen. Weiter geht es über den "Max-Lange-Weg"zur Straße "Auf der Jenseite", auf die Sie links abbiegen und dem X27, H Weg folgen. Diesem folgen Sie bis Oberhundem. Dort angekommen biegen Sie am Gasthof "Zu den Linden" rechts ab, um dem "-" Weg zu folgen. Dieser führt über Selbecke bis zum Steinernen Kreuz. Hier biegen Sie rechts auf den L Weg ab. Nach 300m halten Sie sich links um dem Hohlweg L zu folgen. Unterhalb des Ilbergs biegen Sie schließlich links ab in Richtung Saalhausen und gelangen erneut zur Tourist-Information im Kur- und Bürgerhaus.
