Die Hochheide-Loipe gehört mit ihrer Höhenlage von rund 800 m zu den schneesichersten Strecken im Sauerland. Auf dem rund 5 km langen Rundkurs eröffnen sich weite Blicke in die Sauerländer Bergwelt. Der mittelschwere Kurs bietet sich sowohl für Wiedereinsteiger als auch für erfahrene Langläufer an. Einstiege an der Hochheidehütte und Anbindung an das Willinger Loipengebiet sind vorhanden.
